I’m a Māori European artist born and based in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Growing up here was always a privilege, but as a kid I struggled finding peers that loved the same niche interests I did. Sharing my art online changed everything, it opened up the world to me, and that early 2012 fandom community helped shape so much of who I am today.

I started Kittchu in 2020, originally just wanting to make a couple of cute niche keychains while stuck in lockdown. Overtime, it grew into something bigger! I’ve never stopped loving fandom art, and it inspires the merch and original ideas I create now, including my next project, Starhop. ★
